HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – With the team's first fall event under its belt, the Northern Kentucky women's golf team heads to the Briar Ridge Invitational hosted by UIC at Briar Ridge Country Club in Schererville, Indiana. The two-day event begins on Sunday, Sept. 26.
Norse Lineup
Emmanuel Hewson, Delaney Welsh, Hannah Hall, Reagan Nolan and Abby Cook will serve as the countable quintet for the Norse.
Last Time Out
Hewson paced Northern Kentucky at Ball State's Cardinal Classic with scores of 76-79-79 and a share of 33rd. Hannah Hall (77, 3rd) and Delaney Welsh (78, 2nd) also posted single-round scores in the 70s. NKU as a team finished in a tie for 15th.
Tournament Tidbits
The tournament features seven total teams with IUPUI, Evansville, Chicago State, Morehead State and Green Bay joining host UIC and Northern Kentucky. The three-round event will see two rounds contested on Sunday with an approximate tee-time of 9:24 a.m. A shotgun start in the 8 o'clock hour is set for Monday's final round.
Briar Ridge Country Club is a par-72 setup that plays at nearly 6,100-yards.
