Woman dies in single-vehicle crash in northwest Oklahoma City, police say
A woman died after a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.Lt. Tommy Joyce, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said the woman was driving north on Lake Hefner Parkway shortly before 6 a.m. when she took the exit ramp at Northwest 122nd Street. The woman failed to negotiate a turn west, left the road to the right, went down a hill and crashed into a retaining wall.The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the woman's identity.Joyce said the woman was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is under investigation.
