Double shooting in Boston leaves woman dead, man injured

Police in Boston are investigating a double shooting in Dorchester that left a woman dead and a man injured.

The victims were shot around 9 p.m. Saturday in the area of 240 Westview St., according to a Boston police spokesman.

Neither victim has been publicly identified. The man was in stable condition as of Sunday morning, the spokesman said.

Boston police said detectives continue to investigate the incident and the circumstances surrounding it.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday morning.

Authorities were seen in the area of the Franklin Field Apartments as they investigated the killing, according to WCVB.
