The Battle of Pleasanton went down to the wire as Foothill edged Amador Valley 21-17. Menlo-Atherton, playing on its home field, rallied in the fourth quarter and beat previously undefeated McClymonds on a walk-off field goal in overtime.
St. Francis, in its first game since beating De La Salle, had no letdown in a West Catholic Athletic League opener against St. Ignatius.
We have all the details on those games, and much more.
