ST. LOUIS – St. Louis city police officers are investigating a double shooting that happened on I-70 westbound and Madison in north St. Louis.
Police say the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived to the scene they found a woman in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical/unstable condition.
Officers were notified that a man was also being privately transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound and is listed in critical/stable condition.
Due to the woman’s condition, homicide detectives are handling the investigation.
