With Saturday's 10-8 loss to the Braves, the Padres were officially eliminated from postseason contention. The Padres jumped on top early with home runs from Adam Frazier and Eric Hosmer, and Manny Machado added on with a grand slam, but it wasn't enough as the bullpen couldn't hold the lead. Jayce Tingler spoke with the media after the loss.
