On Saturday, a 22-year-old man is critical condition from being struck by gunfire in west Baltimore.

At about 5:54 p.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Linden Avenue for a shot spotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers found a 22- year-old man who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

Central District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2411 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at approximately 1-866-7lockup.
