Iowa's Latino Heritage Festival is serving up some culture in Downtown Des Moines. The festival at Western Gateway Park includes food, music, dancing and local artwork. Director Joe Gonzalez said it's important to highlight the diversity within Iowa's Latino community. "It's really kind of perfect situation to kind of educate the general community about the diversity that we have and also the contributions that our community gives to our city, our state and our country," Gonzalez said. Admission is $5 for adults, and it's free for children 12 and under.The festival goes until 11 p.m. Saturday and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
