SOUTH JORDAN — A woman died Saturday after a three-car crash at 854 West on South Jordan Parkway, police said.
Two cars initially collided before the third vehicle was involved at around 2:15 p.m. near 845 West and South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan Sgt. Matt Adams said.
South Jordan and Herriman police units responded to the crash that Adams described as "pretty severe."
The woman was taken to the hospital before she died. A few children and an adult were also taken to the hospital out of a precaution with "aches and pains," Adams said.
An investigation is ongoing as to what caused the crash.
The woman's name and other details of the crash have not been released.
