BUCHANAN COUNTY —A St. Joseph woman was injured in an accident just after 10:30a.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Equinox driven by Dana S. Newby 65, St. Joseph, was northbound on SE 85th Road.
The driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle traveled through the intersection, struck an embankment and came to rest in a corn field.
Buchanan County EMS transported Newby to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
