More than 400 walkers registered for the walk. The Alzheimer's Association raised $146,000 at the walk alone.
Organizers sat money raised at the walks to end Alzheimer's help the association care for and support the 29,000 Mainers living with the disease and their caregivers.
Donations also help fund critical research to get closer to new treatments, prevention and eventually a cure.
There are three more walks in Maine this fall. To find out more, click here.
