BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia State Police are investigating a school shooting threat.
According to State Police, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at around 10:30 am, Sgt. Faircloth responded to Musselman Middle School after receiving notification from Principal Ian Hillman of a potential school threat.
Mr. Hillman reported a student was identified as having sent a threatening message over social media referencing a school shooting at Musselman Middle School. Â Sgt. Faircloth reviewed screenshots of the messages and conferred with the Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney, Catie Delligatti.
It is anticipated that a juvenile petition will be filed. Â Musselman middle school is also handwringing the matter administratively.
