However, the tasting room in Downtown Troy will remain open.
Among the last brews released are Lenny's RIPA and Exodus 2021.
Owner and founder Jeremy Cowan says while brewing Shmaltz ends after 25 years, he will focus on his Alphabet City Brewing Company, consulting and the tasting room in troy, 518 Craft.
I have some wonderful small clients, some medium clients. We are going to start to grow that business and help people navigate the craft beer world," said Cowan. "I've got a wonderful staff that's perfect for this stage of the business, and given that COVID is still coming and going, it makes things really challenging, but I think we are in a great spot to be able to start some new chapters, take on some new adventures.
Cowan is currently doing a farewell to Shmaltz tour, including Friday night during Troy Night Out.
