Have you seen this brazen NYC necklace thief?

Cops are looking to collar a brazen thief who snatched a necklace from a woman walking in the Bronx, police said.

The incident took place Sept. 18 at about 8:40 a.m. in front of 1221 Prospect Ave., near Home Street in the Morrisania section, cops said.

The 51-year-old woman was walking when an unidentified individual approached her from behind and snatched the jewelry off her neck before running toward Prospect Avenue, authorities said. The stunned victim suffered a minor injury to her neck, but refused medical attention, police said.

The NYPD on Saturday released surveillance video and a photo of the unidentified suspect, who has a stocky build, stands about 5-foot-8 inches and sports a beard and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a white T-shirt, red shorts, black socks and white sneakers.
