Shreve (3-2) allowed three runs on two hits and a walk with a strikeout in one inning Friday, taking the loss versus Philadelphia.

The southpaw didn't have his best stuff and he paid for it, allowing a three-run home run to Didi Gregorius in the seventh inning. Shreve has been effective for much of this season with a 3.08 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 41:27 K:BB -- the elevated walk rate is the only real concern. He's added eight holds in 53 appearances, but he's rarely seen a truly high-leverage role.
