They continued to roll from there for a 25-14 win and a 2-0 edge in the match.

Monroe tried to get out of there quickly, going up 10-1 in the third game. The Cougars chipped away to make it 13-5, but the Mustangs then took 9-of-10 points for a 22-6 advantage. They then took three of the final four points to finish things off with a 25-7 win, wrapping up the match in straight sets.
