Now that was hat trick of strikes.

Boston Bruins forwards Nick Foligno, Taylor Hall and Craig Smith each threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park on Friday. The pitches came just prior to the Boston Red Sox playing host to the New York Yankees.

The Bruins hit up Fenway wearing home white Red Sox jerseys and tok pictures on the field before the first pitch.

Foligno, the former Columbus Blue Jackets captain who signed with the Bruins in July, said he was worried about throwing one in the dirt in front of the Fenway crowd.

Those fears proved unwarranted and Foligno was fired up about it.

After the Red Sox thanked them for showing up, the Bruins shared their delight on Twitter.
