Former Heisman Trophy Winner Predicts WVU to Upset Oklahoma

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago during Friday night’s Wake Forest at Virginia game, ESPN analyst Andre Ware predicted that West Virginia will upset Oklahoma tomorrow.

Ware, who won the Heisman Trophy while at Houston in 1988, said the following about the Mountaineers and Sooners game: “I’m calling it right now.  West Virginia is going into Norman and upsetting Oklahoma tomorrow!  I’m calling it first.”

Ware went on to say, “Sooners’ fans should be worried.  The last time I predicted an upset for them it happened.  A few years ago against BYU, I called it and it happened.”

West Virginia is currently a 16.5 point underdog but is a sexy pick for analysts due to Oklahoma’s early season struggles.

The Mountaineers and Sooners open their Big 12 Conference season tomorrow night at 7:30PM on ABC.
