Deadly Rear-End Collision near Westminster Avenue in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, CA (September 24, 2021) -Wednesday morning, one person was killed in a fatal bus accident on Harbor Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 8:35 a.m., when a motorist in his mid-20s crashed into the back of a bus in his Honda Accord.

Officers responded on Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, first responders pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene. Investigators also pointed out that the Honda driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.

Meanwhile, the 15 passengers inside the bus remain unharmed, according to Santa Ana Police.

At this time, the authorities are investigating the circumstances behind the rear-end crash.
