GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has completed its examination regarding the death of Mary Cruthers, an 80-year-old female resident of Grand Junction, Colorado. Mr. Cruthers was the female fatality related to the 29 1/2 Road fire on September 22, 2021. The cause of death is incised wound of the neck and the manner of death is homicide.
