Time to find out if ATQ is mostly wrong or mostly right!

Make your prediction for who will win this week’s PAC-12 contest and who will cover. At the end of the year we’ll tally the total and find out if we know what the Hell we’re talking about.

Another good week of picking the PAC! When it came to picking outright winners, the ATQ hive-mind chose correctly 58 percent of the time. And when it came to betting on the spread we did even better by choosing the correct outcome 56 percent of the time.

Not only that, but this week’s winner of the RESIDENT GENIUS AWARD goes, once again, to...

Utah v Washington State Photo by William Mancebo/Getty Images

WASHINGTON STATE @ UTAH

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 11:30 AM, PAC-12 NETWORK

SEASON RECORD: WSU (1-2) / UU (1-2)

HISTORICAL RECORD: The winner of this one will take the series lead as they are currently tied at 9-9. Utah won the first two contest in 1966 and 1968, and are currently on a two-game winning streak against Wazzu.

MM’s MUSINGS: Neither of these teams are living up to their standard: Wazzu’s Run N’ Shoot has been shooting themselves in the foot too often to be much of a threat and Utah’s defense looks vulnerable and its offense soft. But, hey, someone’s gotta win.

No. 24 UCLA @ STANFORD

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 3:00 PM, PAC-12 NETWORK

SEASON RECORD: UCLA (2-1) / STAN (2-1)

HISTORICAL RECORD: The Bruins are in the lead with a 46-43-3 series record. Though Stanford has dominated the series lately, having won 12 of the previous 13 games against the Bruins. I bet the Cardinal wishes they could’ve won those three tie games right about now.

MM’s MUSINGS: This would be a great time for Chip Kelly to make a statement by crushing this improving but flawed Stanford team, because back-to-back losses would completely deflate any momentum UCLA earned after beating the overrated LSU Tigers. With a win over the Bruins, Stanford would likely become the clear second favorite in the PAC-12 North, setting up for an epic game on Oct. 2 against the Ducks.

CALIFORNIA @ wASHINGTON

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 6:30 PM, PAC-12 NETWORK

SEASON RECORD: CAL (1-2) / UW (1-2)

HISTORICAL RECORD: Unfortunately, washington holds the series lead at 54-41-4. But the Cal Golden Bears are heading into Seattle having won the previous two matchups against the huskies.

MM’s MUSINGS: We all want California to pull off another upset victory against the Mutts of Montlake, but their previous three games don’t inspire much confidence.

NCAA FOOTBALL: NOV 26 Arizona at Oregon Photo by AJ Untermeyer/Icon SMI/Icon Sport Media via Getty Images

ARIZONA @ No. 3 OREGON

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 7:30 PM, ESPN

SEASON RECORD: UA (0-3) / UO (3-0)

HISTORICAL RECORD: The Ducks have 27 wins to Arizona’s 17 wins in the series.

MM’s MUSINGS: The undefeated Ducks versus the very defeated Wildcats. Arizona hasn’t won a game of football in 15 attempts. This game is unjinxable; the Ducks will win this game. The real question is, how merciful is Cristobal feeling?

Arizona State v Colorado Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images

COLORADO @ ARIZONA STATE

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 7:30 PM, ESPNU

SEASON RECORD: UC (1-2) / ASU (2-1)

HISTORICAL RECORD: These two teams have only played each other 11 times on the gridiron. ASU won the first seven, but Colorado has won the previous two games.

MM’s MUSINGS: Both of these teams are coming off some bad beats. Who is ready to rebound? The Sun Devils on paper are the better team, considering Colorado has only scored a total of seven points in their last two games, but perhaps the Buffaloes’ defense can make this a close (and, likely, ugly) one.

NCAA Football: Southern California at Oregon State Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

OREGON STATE @ USC

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 7:30 PM, FS1

SEASON RECORD: OSU (2-1) / USC (2-1)

HISTORICAL RECORD: As lopsided as a series can be in a longstanding rivalry, the Trojans are 63-11-4 against the Beavers. What’s worse, Oregon State has lost the previous 24 matches in Los Angeles and haven’t won there since 1960.

MM’s MUSINGS: USC really turned things around with backup quarterback Jaxson Dart turning in a great performance against a terrible Wazzu defense. So far, history is repeating itself with a shining backup QB and an interim head coach at USC. Will it repeat itself once more with another humiliating defeat for the Beavers at the Coliseum?
