Jurgen Klopp has called for clarity over whether Brazil's Premier League players will be subject to quarantine measures with the current situation unstainable.

The Liverpool manager expects Roberto Firmino, goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Fabinho to be called up for three World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela, Colombia and Uruguay though it is unclear whether they will get an exemption to travel back to the United Kingdom without quarantine.

Firmino, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue, Alisson and Fabinho - along with a number of other Brazilians based in England - stayed at home for the internationals last month, as Brazil was on the red list and that meant 10 days in a quarantine hotel.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker (L) is also likely to be on Brazil duty and face quarantine uncertainty

'There must be a solution because we cannot just leave it like it is and say it's not a problem,' said Klopp.

'Yes it is a problem. I'm pretty sure the decisive people are working on that, in fact I know they are, but there is nothing decided yet as far as I'm concerned.'

Klopp's worries about the situation, however, are not limited to travel. Should Alisson, Firmino and Fabinho be involved against Uruguay in Manaus, the game kicks off at 130am on October 15. Liverpool return after the international with a game at Watford on October 16 at 1230pm.

'I expect them to go,' said Klopp. 'Obviously nobody thought about that (scheduling) yet and it's a Liverpool problem, not a problem for anybody else.

Fabinho (R) is another candidate to play international fixtures, leaving Klopp feeling perplexed

'Good for Watford and all these kind of things, but I just don't know how you can do these things and nobody reacts on the schedule.

'The schedule is always a problem but it's like the TV guys and the Premier League just say "Ok, that's how it is, they have to play".

'Let's have a look at how we can sort that. It's another thing that's not good for the players and not good for the clubs as well. I hope on top of that the government comes up with a solution.'
