McGowin (elbow) will begin a rehab program after recently receiving an injection, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
McGowin landed on the shelf in early September with a UCL sprain in his right elbow, but he'll only require a rehab program and should be ready to go for 2022. The 29-year-old posted a 4.20 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB across 30 innings this season.
