Simone Whitmore is celebrating her husband Cecil Whitmore as he turns 55. The Married to Medicine cast member recently took to Instagram to commemorate her spouse’s milestone birthday, sharing some sweet snapshots from their family festivities.

Simone and Cecil feted his special day by heading to Malibu for a romantic weekend getaway, as she captured in a series of photos on Instagram. In the heartwarming picture posted on September 24, the couple can be seen posing alongside a friend at an outdoor restaurant. A later photo captures Cecil smiling as he gets ready to slice into a delicious birthday dessert.

“Birthday weekend is off to a great start,” Simone wrote in the caption of the post, going on to add hashtags that read “double nickel” and “abundant blessings.”

Several of Simone’s fellow Bravolebs took to the comments to send some birthday love to Cecil. “Happy Birthday @cecilcwhit,” Married to Medicine's Dr. Jackie Walters wrote while Dr. Contessa Metcalfe added, “Happy birthday. may God continue to bless you.” Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan also responded, writing, “Happy birthday @cecilcwhit.”

This isn’t the only romantic photo that Simone has shared with Cecil on Instagram in recent weeks. Earlier this month, she shared a peek into one of the couple’s recent date nights.

“Top service every time at @flemingssteakhouse Dunwwody GA. Date night started off rough driving around for the right spot. We made it,” she captioned the picture.
