Two people were found dead in a Del City home, and investigators are calling it a murder-suicide. Police said a man shot a woman before turning the gun on himself.Twenty-two-year-old Trisha Fernandez was the life of the party, with a bright smile and deep love for her family. Her life was cut short on Monday. It'd been two days since anyone had heard from her so her manager in Oklahoma reached out to her brother in California.>> More on this: Del City police investigating murder-suicide Fernandez grew up in California, had dreams of joining the Air Force and moved to Oklahoma City almost two years ago, where her family said her boyfriend was stationed, active duty in the military.Del City police responded to a welfare check on Monday and found Fernandez and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Aaron Butler, dead. Police said it appears Butler shot her and then turned the gun on himself. The family is now raising money to help bring Fernandez home for the funeral services. Choosing to remember her as the loving sister, daughter and cousin they could always count on.They hope her story helps others remember to always check in on loved ones or to ask for help. The family has created a GoFundMe page to help bring Fernandez home.
