More than 700 people are expected to take part in a weekend ride to benefit the family of a Biddeford landlord who was shot and killed last week while trying to evict a tenant.Dougie’s Ride on Sunday will remember Douglas Michaud, who friends and family said loved motorcycles and classic cars.Organizers said any vehicle is invited to take part in the ride and proceeds will go to help Michaud’s fiancé and their unborn son.Many local businesses have also offered to help."Doug would be so, so happy, I know that he would definitely want to be here. I'm sure he's up there looking down and very proud of his town, and his family and friends,” said Megan Wakefield, the sister of Michaud’s fiancé.Registration for the ride begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday at Waterboro Eagles, with the ride beginning at 10:30 a.m.The ride will end in Acton.
