Dave Parker, Arkansas Department of Transportation public information officer, reported to the Camden News that two ArDot employees were victims of a hit-and-run while setting up a barricade in Calhoun County at around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning.
The employees were in the area helping as a result of an anhydrous ammonia leak, which necessitated closing the highway.
One employee was taken to and El Dorado hospital with a broken leg, while the other employee was taken to Texarkana with leg and back injuries.
