WORCESTER — A city man was ordered held on $35,000 bail Friday in Worcester Superior Court on allegations of child rape.

Reynaldo Gonzalez, 49, was arraigned on child rape aggravated by 5-year age difference, subsequent-offense child rape, subsequent-offense indecent assault on a child under 14 (two counts), indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older (two counts) and enticing a child under age 16.

Judge Janet Kenton-Walker ordered Gonzalez, should he post bail, be on home confinement and GPS monitoring.

A prosecutor said the man has been jailed for the past two years on charges out of Central District Court, and did not anticipate him posting bail.

Should he post, Gonzalez was ordered to stay away from an address on Henchman Street where the offenses allegedly occurred.

Central District Court records show Gonzalez is a Level 3 sex offender with multiple open cases for alleged sexual crimes.

He was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail in 2019 following allegations of enticing a child under 16, the records show.

Gonzalez is due back in court Oct. 25 for a pretrial hearing.
