Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz is not starting in Friday's game against the Miami Marlins.
Diaz will sit on Friday evening after Joey Wendle was picked as Tampa Bay's starting third baseman.
According to Baseball Savant on 368 batted balls this season, Diaz has produced a 7.1% barrel rate and a .251 expected average.
