After their debut "Inappropriate" arrived last month, RIVER is following up the playful track with a more grounded, very impressive new single "Dance in the Darkness."

The Hamburg-based, California-bred duo is showcasing a very infectious, Jungle-like sound with this new track, which proves the pair should absolutely be taken seriously as they continue to unveil new layers of themselves.

The new song is inspired by long-distance relationships and the accompanying aura of romantic mysticism, all the while ultimately being about longing for someone and anticipation of what happens next, missing your significant other.

We're quickly becoming fans of RIVER. And this new track is clear evidence of why.
