Washington vs. California How to Watch

Time, TV, Streaming, and More

California (1-2) at Washington (1-2)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 6:30 PM PT

TV: Pac-12 Networks

Streaming: Pac-12.com/live

Betting Line: Washington -7.5, O/U 46. Expected Score: Washington- 27, California- 19.

Watchability Score: 10 out of 10 (unbiased take 6 out of 10). Colorado’s complete inability to move the ball even by Washington’s standards is the only thing keeping this from having the lowest over/under total of the Pac-12 slate. These 2 teams really seem like they always play low-scoring ugly football. And Washington’s offense has certainly suggested they are closer to making that a permanent thing. Cal’s offense has been better than usual this year but their defense has been worse so we’ll see if this somehow becomes a (relative) shootout. Also, no lightning. Thank goodness.

Other Pac-12 Games

Washington State (1-2) at Utah (1-2)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 11:30 AM PT

TV: Pac-12 Networks

Streaming: Pac-12.com/live

Betting Line: Utah -14.5, O/U 54.5. Expected Score: Utah- 34, Washington State- 20.

Watchability Score: 5 out of 10. The only reason to watch this one is the intrigue at the quarterback position at each school. Utah’s starter to begin the season, Baylor transfer Charlie Brewer, decided to transfer this week after he was benched for Cameron Rising. Meanwhile, Jayden de Laura may not be healthy so it’s unclear who exactly is going to be throwing the ball for them after walk-on Victor Gabalis went 6/10 for just 19 yards in relief duty and Cammon Cooper threw a pick among his 5 attempts.

#24 UCLA (2-1) at Stanford (2-1)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 3:00 PM PT

TV: Pac-12 Networks

Streaming: Pac-12.com/live

Betting Line: UCLA -5, O/U 58.5. Expected Score: UCLA- 32, Stanford- 27.

Watchability Score: 9 out of 10. This is pretty clearly the game of the day in the conference in my opinion. So good thing it’s a 3p kickoff on Pac-12 Networks. It looks increasingly unfathomable that Tanner McKee didn’t win the Stanford QB job out of camp as he now is averaging 8.1 YPA with 5 TDs and 0 INTs compared to Jack West’s 6.3 YPA with 0 TDs and 2 INTs. UCLA meanwhile could have the best offense in the conference. I’m expecting this to be fun to watch, hence the score.

Arizona (0-3) at #3 Oregon (3-0)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 7:30 PM PT

TV: ESPN

Streaming: Espn.com/live

Betting Line: Oregon -28.5, O/U 58.5. Expected Score: Oregon- 43, Arizona- 15.

Watchability Score: 1 out of 10. Not only is Arizona going to be turned into a chalk outline, it’s going to be Oregon doing it to them. Friends don’t let friends watch Ducks win in blow outs.

Oregon State (2-1) at USC (2-1)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 7:30 PM PT

TV: FS1

Streaming: Foxsports.com/live

Betting Line: USC -12, O/U 62.5. Expected Score: USC- 37, Oregon State- 25.

Watchability Score: 6 out of 10. I’m intrigued to see what happens with the Trojans’ QB situation after it was announced Jaxson Dart had surgery and so we’ll see if Kedon Slovis is fully healthy. I’m also interested to see how the Oregon State offense looks against the Trojan defense. If the Beavers have any shot of competing in the North it would behoove them to at least stay competitive in this one.

Colorado (1-2) at Arizona State (2-1)

Date: Saturday, September 25th

Time: 7:30 PM PT

TV: ESPNU

Streaming: Espn.com/live

Betting Line: Arizona State -14.5, O/U 44.5. Expected Score: Arizona St- 29, Colorado- 15.

Watchability Score: 2 out of 10. Colorado’s offense makes me want to permanently blind myself. And I watched UW play against Montana and Michigan. Somehow Washington’s Pac-12 record of 19 consecutive scoreless drives only lasted one week because Colorado is up to 20 after getting shut out their last 7 quarters against Texas A&M and Minnesota. There isn’t much to suggest that’s going to change against the Sun Devils.
