Indianola City Manager Ryan Waller has been named as a finalist for the job of City Manager for the City of Marion. Indianola Mayor Pam Pepper and the Indianola City Council released a statement regarding Waller’s candidacy.
“The only downside of having a city manager of Ryan Waller’s caliber is that it’s impossible to keep his good work a secret. Ryan’s high level of integrity and expertise in city government make him very appealing to other cities. Ryan has been recruited by other organizations in the past and, given his qualifications, will undoubtedly be pursued by more in the future. The upcoming interview with the city of Marion is part of an overall recruiting process. This is all the information we have at this time.”
