MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged sex crimes.
On Thursday, police arrested 35-year-old Skyler James Barry of Manhattan on a warrant in connection to sex crimes reported to have occurred in Manhattan in December 2020 and February 2021, according to a media release from the Riley County Police Department.
On May 28, 2021, officers filed a report for rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and criminal sodomy. Officers arrested Barry in connection for aggravated criminal sodomy, and two counts rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Barry is confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $250,000.
