Sporting Kansas City and Homefield have announced a new partnership that will expand Sporting KC Youth Soccer programs into both Homefield locations in Olathe, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. This expansion will provide additional opportunities for youth and adults in the area to participate in soccer and make memories with Sporting Kansas City.
“This partnership elevates our ability to serve both youth and adult soccer athletes throughout the KC metro," said Dustin Lewis, Homefield President. "Sporting Kansas City is a world class organization, and we are thrilled to join forces to continue to grow the game together.”
Two of Sporting KC’s most popular programs, Sporting Stripes presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City and Sporting Stars, will begin at Homefield – Olathe this winter. These programs, designed for 2-8 year olds, help participants reach developmental milestones, learn the fundamentals of soccer and develop a passion for the game.
Sporting KC will also expand its Sporting Recreation League to Homefield – Olathe for the first time this winter season. This indoor recreational soccer league will be for boys and girls, Pre-K through third grade. An indoor adult league for men and women 18 years and older will also be available.
