Two more opportunities to learn about the PCSD bond

PARK CITY, Utah — Outside of the two patrons that arrived late on Tuesday, no one showed up at the Park City School District’s (PCSD) public hearing about the $79 million school bond this week, according to PCSD.

If approved, the bond would authorize the financing of the addition of high school classroom spaces to support 9-12 grades. Also, updates would be added to Jeremy Ranch and McPolin elementary schools in order to support early learning.

“The goal of the Bond Proposition and financing option is to ensure the best financing rates for our community in the implementation of the master plan,” PCSD said in a statement.

On Tuesday, October 7 at 6 pm, there will be an informal community forum at Ecker Hill Middle School Auditorium Commons with school officials that are prepared to share information and take the public’s questions.

Additionally, on Tuesday, October 19 at 6 pm, another public hearing will take place on the Main Floor of the Park City School District building.

The Board voted to propose the bond resolution at a meeting in August.
