Smoke billows over Antelope drive, lanes shut down as crews battle fire at abandoned home

SYRACUSE, Utah (KUTV) —
Drivers heading east on Antelope drive near 1800 West were met with billowing smoke Friday morning as crews blocked off lanes to fight a fire at an abandoned home.

Multiple fire trucks blocked off the right-hand lanes where they are working to stop the fire.

A photo taken by a Syracuse resident shows flames shooting from the roof of the home from across the street.
The incident backed up traffic, which was reduced to one lane.
