Dana White Makes Jakes Paul's Next Fight For Him, Proposes Another Former UFC Star

Dana White Makes Jakes Paul's Next Fight For Him, Proposes Another Former UFC Star

Dana White has some ideas on who should Jake Paul's next boxing opponent should be.

Dana White has made Jake Paul's next fight for him, advocating for a bout with UFC legend Anderson Silva.

The UFC president has been involved in plenty of verbal exchanges with 'The Problem Child' in recent times and may well be in the middle of another after his latest comments.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, who has beaten two of White's former fighters in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, recently called for a fight with UFC BMF champion Jorge Masvidal.

'Gamebred' briefly trained with Paul in the past but changed his tune of late by expressing his interest in being White's personal assassin and breaking the 24-year-old's face.

Any bout inside the squared circle would require a sign off from UFC, where Masvidal is still contracted.

White isn't in favour whatsoever and instead reckons 3-0 Paul should square off against Silva, who many deem to be the greatest MMA fighter of all-time.

The Brazilian, now 46, has been boxing professionally recently and recorded impressive victories over both Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Tito Ortiz.

“Come on, Masvidal is 170 pounds. He likes 170 pounders. Go fight somebody your own size. Anderson Silva is not in contract, he’s 46 years old, that’s the age group you love to fight, and he’s your size, and he’s actually winning fights.

"If you look at Jake Paul’s history, Jake Paul either fights basketball players who have never fought, or he wants to fight washed-up older guys who haven’t fought in years," White told the Australian Daily Telegraph, as per Boxing Scene.

"Anderson Silva has actually been boxing, he’s won some fights, he’s 46 years old, and he’s in your weight class. There you go, that’s a no brainer, fight Anderson Silva. You’re not gonna fight 170-pound Jorge Masvidal who’s ranked top 10 in the world. No. He fights here, he’s under contract with us. Go f------ fight somebody your own size. He just fought Tyron Woodley.

"Tyron Woodley is 40 years old, hasn’t won a fight in three years, hasn’t knocked somebody out in his weight class in five years. That’s who Jake Paul wants to fight, and he barely got out of that fight. He barely won that one.

"Now you want to fight a guy who’s ranked in the top 10, that weighs 170 pounds, is still relevant in the fighting world when you have Anderson who’s not under contract with anybody and has just won two boxing matches.

"There you go. You’re welcome. I just made your next boxing match for you, but I bet you don’t see that one happening. Wanna bet?”

Earlier this month, following The Spider's devastating first-round knockout of Ortiz, White called Silva "The GOAT of combat sports" and said Paul would never call him out.

"I f**king guarantee you this, you ain't gonna see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva out," White stated.

"That I f**kin' promise you. He's his size, and he's actually good. He's old, which is what Jake Paul looks for, he likes to fight old guys.

"But he likes to fight old guys that are too small and that are absolutely, positively washed up."

Paul has a high-profile ongoing feud with Tommy Fury, who rejected a £1 million fight offer as it was "not even worth getting out of bed for".
