UPDATE 12: 15 PM Both lanes are now re-open on Belmont County E after two lawn care vehicles crashed going up the ramp on the St. Clairsville exit.
Officials say the front truck stopped and the second truck ran into it causing a spill onto the road.
The crash happened around 8:53 AM and both lanes were reopen around noon.
The EPA is expended to come in to assess if further clean-up is needed.
UPDATE: Two trucks collided spilling over 200 gallons of Herbicide over the road that crews are clearing up.
EMA, Cumberland Trail Fire Department, St Clairsville Police, and ODOT are on the scene.
I-70 East in Belmont County is currently closed because of a crash.
It’s also closed beyond SR-9/ St. Clairsville.
Motorists should use an alternate route.
