Cirque Italia's paranormal circus will feature acrobats with a spooky twist.

In need of a good fright? Cirque Italia is returning to Topeka, but this time, it's bringing its paranormal circus.

"Paranormal Cirque" will host performances Sept. 30- Oct. 3 at Heartland Motorsports Park, 7530 S.W. Topeka Blvd.

Ticket prices start at $10 and can be purchased at paranormalcirque.com or the box office starting Sept. 28. Guests can receive $5 off their ticket by using the code "5OFF."

According to a news release from Sarah Kessler, Cirque Italia's spokeswoman, the show is meant for people 18 years and older. Anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Hair Hang performer Argentina Portugal flies through the big top while performing her act during the paranormal circus.

"Paranormal Cirque will expose you to a unique creation of combined theatre, circus, and cabaret with a new European style flare," Kessler said.

The show features acrobats, illusionists, mysterious creatures to create a spooky performance and is a fusion between a circus, theater and cabaret.

"You will fall into a parallel world and end up surrounded by monstrous creatures with hidden talents that will amaze you with the circus arts," Kessler said. "This show is not for the faint of heart."

Illusionists will be featured during Cirque Italia's paranormal circus.
