It’s been ten years since Elevate launched. Take us back to the beginning.
It seems like yesterday but also a lifetime ago! We had been providing e-discovery and document review services for the six years prior to that (doing doc review in India in 2005 was very cutting edge indeed!). But even by 2011, the concept of ‘legal operations’ was embryonic to say the least (CLOC had not even been started yet) so law departments only had two ways of doing legal work: hire people and do it themselves (law department), or use outside counsel (law firm).
