Cottonwood Police arrested two people this week in connection with a stolen vehicle and burglary. Officials say last weekend a vehicle was stolen; Tuesday the vehicle was located by the Camp Verde Marshals Office. Inside the vehicle was 19-year old Gavin Duval and 47-year old Melissa Peterson, both of Cottonwood. A search of the vehicle located multiple handguns, jewelry and collectible silver coins. Officials say the items matched items stolen during a recent residential burglary in Cottonwood. Both are jailed on felony charges that include theft of means of transportation and burglary.
