The Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants duel on Sunday features a pair of winless teams. Both teams have struggled, and the Giants lost a close one against the Washington Football Team on a last-second field goal by Dustin Hopkins. Nonetheless, one of these teams has to come out on top on Sunday and get the win–unless they tie, of course.
Matt Ryan has struggled, Kyle Pitts has yet to breakout, and the running game has been iffy for the Falcons. With all that being said, there is a ton of optimism for the Falcons against a struggling Giants team.
So, here are four bold predictions for the game.

Falcons Week 3 Predictions
4. Mike Davis falls into the end zone–finally
The Falcons brought in Mike Davis and pegged him as their starter. Somehow, he has not played well to start the 2021 NFL season. In fact, Cordarrelle Patterson outshined Davis in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, posting 69 total yards with a pair of scores.
Davis has yet to cross the goal line this season, but Sunday might be the day he finally does it for the Falcons.
3. Matt Ryan bounces back
The savvy veteran has struggled immensely in 2021. Unfortunately, the Falcons don't have many other options behind him, so it is Ryan time still. Through two games, he has thrown for 464 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions, including back-to-back Pick 6's against the Bucs that put the game out of reach.
Nonetheless, this is the game for Ryan to bounce back against a struggling Giants team. He should have no problem throwing for 250 yards with a pair of scores, at least.
2. Kyle Pitts FINALLY explodes
Remember the star tight end out of the University of Florida that everybody was salivating about? Well, thus far Kyle Pitts has been extremely quiet. In his first two career games, he has just nine catches for 104 yards and no scores, but that shouldn't last long.
The Falcons scored only six points in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and it is only a matter of time before Pitts showcases his talent that everybody was hyped for.
There is no reason why Pitts shouldn't post a game with seven grabs for 100 yards and a score.
1. Falcons get their first win
The Falcons have an advantage, albeit a slight one, because the Giants' offense has been extremely subpar so far this year. This game will be either high-scoring or full of ugliness but expect the Falcons to get their first victory of the campaign. A win is a win, no matter who you play.
