NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man has been accused of burglarizing units at a storage facility.

According to police, on Sept. 21 at around 5:15 a.m., a patrol officer drove by the Stor N Lok storage units in the 1100 block of east 7th street.

Police said the officer noticed the door was ajar on one of the units and pulled in to investigate further.  As the officer drove in a male subject later identified as Kelub Ray, 50, exited the unit and ran from the scene.

Police said Ray was pursued on foot and captured a short time later.

Officers inspected the unit that Ray was observed running from and found the lock had been cut off with bolt cutters that were left behind.

Property from three storage units was located in the vicinity.
