PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Due to inclement weather, Thursday's (Sept. 23) scheduled match between the No. 18-ranked University of Michigan women's soccer team and No. 9 Rutgers at Yurcak Field has been canceled.

Both programs, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, will search for a possible date to reschedule.

The matchup, originally set to begin at 6 p.m., was moved up to 4 p.m. due to the threat of poor weather expected in the evening. A lightning delay then pushed the match to 7 p.m. before being canceled after continued rain in the greater New Jersey area.

Michigan will return home to host Wisconsin on Sunday (Sept. 26) at noon at U-M Soccer Stadium. The match will be streamed live on B1G+.
