They may not be championship contenders like the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are a team many are going to overlook heading into the 2021-22 NBA season.
With a ton of young, versatile talents on their roster who are only going to get better with time, the Cavs have a chance to maybe slip into the play-in tournament field this season.
Who knows, maybe Cleveland can even make the playoffs without LeBron James for the first time since 1998! Collin Sexton and Darius Garland make up a very talented and young backcourt for the Cavaliers and each guy has a chance to continue being special this season.
Sexton went from scoring 16.7 PPG during his rookie season to 24.3 PPG last year and Garland is definitely a guard that many are saying has “Most Improved Player” type of potential.

Isaac Okoro is coming off a solid rookie season on the wing, Jarrett Allen will look to continue evolving into a high-level two-way talent at the center position, and then the Cavaliers have rookie Evan Mobley in their frontcourt, who is already drawing some comparisons to Chris Bosh before he has even stepped out onto the court in an actual NBA game!
Overall, this Cleveland Cavaliers roster is full of underrated talents and a lot of high-potential players, but will they be able to put things together this year and finally grow?
