The Rabbi of Shaare Torah is speaking out after Pittsburgh police arrested a man who is accused of verbally assaulting people in Squirrel Hill near the temple.
"When someone came in for services in the morning, he was shaking like a leaf. He said that someone went past him, threw him into a car and said some things that I will not repeat on camera," Rabbi Daniel Wasserman said.
Wasserman said he posted the suspect, Tyrone Correll's photo on the synagogue's door until Pittsburgh police arrested the 30-year-old man.
Police said he's accused of shouting anti-Semitic comments at one person and profanities at another.
In addition to ethnic intimidation, Correll is facing multiple assault charges and disorderly conduct.
