New Jersey saw heavy rain showers Thursday afternoon into the evening that left parts of the state under several inches of water.
Parts of New Jersey are still dealing with the aftermath of Ida earlier this month, which caused major flooding around the state. The heavy rain on Thursday was not something that many New Jersey residents wanted to deal with.
Thursday’s storms prompted a series of flash flood warnings, which have now all expired. But areas of the state were still dealing with some localized flooding.
Strong winds caused some trees and power lines to come down causing some damage to the state and knocking out power to thousands for a time.
