Minnesota is hosting Bowling Green in Week 4, but apparently the Falcons don’t intend to make this a friendly affair.

On Thursday afternoon, Bowling Green Football’s official Twitter account shared a regrettable moment from Fleck’s playing career — an interception that took place vs. the Falcons when Fleck was playing receiver for Northern Illinois.

The game is from 2003 — and ESPN’s College GameDay was on site at Bowling Green for the occasion. Here’s the play:

It turned out to be an ill-advised play call and a bad throw from Fleck. However, that play was hardly the end of Northern Illinois’ issues in this game. Bowling Green QB Josh Harris threw for over 400 yards as the Falcons won the game 34-18 and upset the No. 14 Huskies.

That turned out to be one of the final games of Fleck’s playing career. He finished the 2003 season with a career-high 1,028 yards and 6 touchdowns.

As for the Golden Gophers, they are heavily favored on Saturday as they look to move to 3-1 on the season. Fleck’s squad is coming off an impressive shutout victory vs. Colorado in Week 3.

Minnesota is 2-1 all-time against Bowling Green.

Kick off on Saturday is at 11 a.m. CT.
