ATCHISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Thursday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Toyota Corolla driven by Rita A. Sutton, 71, Kadoka, South Dakota, was eastbound on U.S. 136 at Interstate 29 in Rock Port.
The driver failed to yield to a 2019 Ram 1500 driven by Bryce A. Roecker, 26, Fairfax at it was turning east onto U.S. 136.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Sutton to Nemaha County Hospital. Roecker was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
