BELLA VISTA, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas Department of Transportation crews are blasting rocks around the Bella Vista Bypass ahead of a ribbon cutting next week.
When it’s completed, the newly constructed bypass completes a stretch of nearly 300 miles of highway from Fort Smith to Kansas City.
The ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 10 a.m. September 30 on the Missouri-Arkansas state line. The connector will open to traffic the following day.
